How do you get started with Phase III Construction?

1. Contact the office via phone (734) 495-9007 or with our websites automated email and you will be contacted to set up a convenient appointment.
2. We will come to your home to discuss your overall wants and needs, and evaluate the existing space to see how the project can be incorporated into your home. At this meeting, we will get your ideas, give design suggestions and we will find out what is important to you and your family when utilizing the new space. We will review our planning and building process and how it is structured to ensure your projects success. Additionally, we will discuss the overall project budget so that we can design within that budget.
3. Once a client has contracted Phase III Construction, depending upon the scope of work being done, architectural planning and drawings may be needed. We will schedule for our architect to come to your home so that work may begin on drawings. With blueprint in hand, we will meet again to review the plans and make sure you approve and are happy with the project outline.
4. Once happy with the design, Phase III Construction will prepare a comprehensive document detailing the scope of work and the contract that Phase III Construction will have with you on your project. This will include descriptions of the work broken down to each step of the construction process from concrete to framing to electrical, along with project cost outline and payment schedule. We then have the opportunity together to review this and make sure alll of our discussions are outlined in this document. This scope of work will clearly descibe what is and is not included in the project, giving both the homeowner and Builder a clear understanding of what the expectations are.
5. Once this construction contract is signed, Phase III Construction will finalize any/all structural designs and all engineering plans and documents will be submitted to the city or county. Depending on the complexity of the project, the process of waiting for permits can take as little as 1 week to as long as 5 weeks.
6. During this waiting period we will supply you with a detailed list of all materials and supplies that need to be selected & possibly special ordered. This is when your fun starts and you feel your project take off. With our established relationships we can put you in touch with professional shops that will be able to assist in helping with your selections. We also offer the assistance of personally helping you shop for those hard to decide on items. Together we will make sure all your choices are coordinated, from counter tops to flooring, to cabinetry, we will be there to assist in your decisions, if needed.
7. Now we are ready to begin. With plans in hand, materials selected and ordered, we will review the entire project making sure that any unanswered questions can be addressed. The goal of Phase III Construction is to have work completed on a daily basis with no interruptions, allowing your project to move along to scheduled completion.
8. Prior to completion, we will walk your project with you and record any small items or details that you would like altered, this will ensure your 100% satisfied with the project.
9. Upon completion of the project, you will receive a detailed packet that reviews warranted products and services. Phase III Construction's goal is to have a client for life. If you have questions or concerns after your project has been completed, we are only a phone call away.
